The life of Darth Elmo was an autobiography of the life of Darth Elmo. It took five years to write this book, even though he only was only two by the time it was completed. However, the book has been heavily criticized as much of the accounts in it are false. Darth Elmo responded to this explaining that he had not double checked the research on himself, as he had done much of it on the Internet.

Film adaptions

Several years after the release of the book, a movie was made starring Mike Tyson as Elmo. The movie even contained the false information from the original book.

Another film adaption was released, this time starring Redd Foxx as Elmo. However, this adaption only contained the information about Elmo while writing the novel.

Since there was supposedly "much money to be made in this franchise", yet another adaption was made about Darth Elmo. This time, he was writing "The life of Darth Elmo while writing 'The Life of Darth Elmo'". Red Foxx reprised the role for this film.

Yet another adaption was made about Darth Elmo. He was writing "The life of Darth Elmo while writing 'The life of Darth Elmo while writing 'The life of Darth Elmo'". He got so confused he had a stroke of confusion. He woke up and never wrote a novel again. This was mentioned in the credits. This time, Jerry Springer does the acting, since he had nothing else to do.
