Slashers were a group of fangirls who liked to pretend that two males within the Star Wars universe were having relations, and then write stories about these "encounters." No matter how fucked-up the image was, or how little the subjects had interacted, just being two males meant that they had had relations; one horrible example revolved around Carth Onasi. Slashers loved to spend time around XY-wing pilots and Rouge Squadron, as the members of those two cadres were, in their minds, chock full of story material. Darth Vader got sick of their rumors about him and Obi-Wan Kenobi, so he destroyed their planet.
