Sith Overlords were Sith who outranked your basic boring Sith Lord but were not quite awesome enough to qualify for Sith Mega-Super-Overlordship. It should come as no surprise to Star Wars fans that there were way more Sith Mega-Super-Overlords than Sith Overlords.
