Padawan

Padawan was a Jedi title granted to those students, such as <insert name here>, who cleaned tables and performed other such menial chores. The position was an ancient one first founded to provide Jedi Masters with the opportunity to put their feet up for a bit—incidentally, one of the Padawans' functions was as an impromptu footstool when required. Later it developed into a complex feudal relationship.
