Nascar was the watered down version of pod racing. It consisted of a bunch of idiots going hundreds of kilometers in a circle.
That's it.
That's, quite literally, all that they did.
Darth Vader despised Nascar because he was a player in a management position. Darth Darth Binks was, to nobody's surprise, quite entertained by Nascar. As a result, everytime that Binks went to a planet to view the Nascar races, Darth Vader would make every attempt to blow that planet up while Binks was on it. Unfortunately, Binks always managed to screw up directions and be on the wrong planet most of the time.
