Hell meant different things to different people, beings and even droids, but pretty much everyone who acknowledged its existence regarded it as a bad place, where evil folks were punished for various transgressions. Sith Lords were among those who did not believe in Hell, which was why they felt so cavalier about doing the bad things that they did.
