Ergeron was a Mandalorian warrior and special friend comrade of the great Canderous Ordo during the Mandalorian Wars. Though not as proficient at the art of killing and PWNing, he nonetheless survived the conflict, whereupon which he became a mercenary.

At the time of the Jedi Civil War, he based himself out of Manaan, taking odd jobs for the highest bidder. Seeing as how there was a huge demand for mercs of all species and stripes, his coffers were quite overflowing. Nevertheless, while hanging out at the mercenaries' pub, he had plenty of time to shoot the shit with Canderous and, though he did not know it, Revan himself. Ergeron took great delight in pointing out the flaws of other mercenary and warrior societies, particularly the Echani, who he secretly envied thought of as "fey."
