ET AL was the Grandfather of ET. He was born on the Green Planet and he served in the Senate from 60 BBY until 5 BBY. He died tragically after his Grandson returned from Earth when he challenged Palpatine to a lightsaber to lightfinger duel. Unforunately, lightfingers were only good for healing and flying, so Palpatine sliced his lightfinger off and sent his asshairs to penetrate ET AL. The shock and trauma was too much for him to bear so he died. His lightfinger was used as a paperweight on Palpatine's desk until Admiral Natasi Daala stole it, she thought it was a dildo.
