CorSec, short for Corellian Security Force, was the civilian police agency of the Corellian system. Though its jurisdiction nominally covered the entire star system, its activities were mainly limited to the planet Corellia itself, as well as the many trade lanes in and out. Though CorSec had access to top-of-the-line technologies, techniques, and technicians, the actual agents employed therein always seemed to resemble cops from Earth's New York City, both in attitude and comportment.
Corran Horn and his family held a long tradition of service to CorSec. Many years later, during the Second Galactic Civil War, the agency would become the puppet of Thrackan Sal-Solo and his successors.
