Blastsword

The blastsword was the preferred phallic symbol personal melee weapon of the Adumari people. Most who could afford one typically used them as status symbols, and knew next to nothing about how to properly use them (kind of like folks who take Enzyte and other "male enhancements").

It was at the same time an ungainly and elegant combination of a blaster and vibroblade (without the vibration—sorry, fangirls). When activated, the tip glowed with a faint discharge, which erupted in a full load of power when the weapon impacted a surface with sufficient vigor. The resulting shot could disable or kill an opponent in a most humiliating fashion. Property destruction was often a side-effect of blastsword duels.
